HuskerVision March 2009: CUC provided a 40TB OmniStor/FC24 SAN RAID upgrade along with (12) Final Cut Pro OmniSan client plugins for seamless legacy and new sports video clip shared edit and capture.

January 2009: CUC introduces the new ClipStor/SAS high-performance, fully-redundant iSCSI shared storage solution for budget-conscience Broadcast and Entertainment operations. December 2008: KSL in Salt Lake City upgraded their CUC archival storage subsystem with an OmniLib/XLS8 LTO4 tape library and an additional 10TB ClipDisc RAID for use with their Avid Interplay and iNews systems.


October 2008: CUC recently upgraded the HD content storage capacity at KLVX in Las Vegas, Nevada to 40TB of ClipDisc shared RAID storage and 20TB on their MediaServ/MG MediaGateway server.


KUAC September 2008: KUAC in Fairbanks, Alaska upgraded their OmniLib/TLS LTO archive library storage capacity for their Sundance Automation and Omneon On-Air multi-tier archive.

May 2008: CUC is proud to announce that KSPS selected a 30TB OmniSan shared fibre-attached archive storage solution for use with their Final Cut Pro editing stations.



KHQ April 2008: CUC has installed a multi-tier archive for Broadcast and News at KHQ in Spokane, WA. for use with their Sundance Automation, Omneon On-Air and Grass Valley Newsbrowsesystems.

March 2008: CUC announces the beta release of their new OmniDR appliance family of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity solutions. A single OmniDR appliance provides advanced data protection that enables restoration of failed systems without the need to reformat hard drives, manual re-loading of the operating system, device drivers or application and database software. February 2008: Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN) of Costa Mesa, California has selected CUC Broadcast to upgrade their OmniLIB/DV DVD library to the latest OmniLIB/BD 1,450 slot Blu-ray archival storage library. Managed by a MediaVault/NAS server, TBN's Avid Interplay, GrassValley K2, and Sundance Automation systems seamlessly archive to the OmniLIB/BD library.

December 2007: CUC Broadcast is happy to announce that KSL-TV in Salt Lake City, Utah as a new member to our growing family of Broadcast storage customers. KSL-TV purchased a MediaVault/NAS archive server with an OmniLIB LTO4 library for use in conjunction with their Avid Interplay subsystem.

October 2007: CUC Broadcast welcomes KNPB in Reno, Nevada as the latest member to our growing family of PBS customers. KNPB purchased CUC's MediaServ Video and Media Gateway media asset management solution along with a MediaVault/NAS archival storage server and OmniLIB LTO4 library for use in conjunction with their Omneon and Crispin infrastructure.

May 2007, CUC proudly announces KUAC in Fairbanks, Alaska as the latest addition to our PBS archiving customer list. KUAC has installed CUC's ClipSTOR/NAS archival storage solution with Qualstar LTO3 tape subsystem.

April 2007, CUC is now shipping the new RoHS-compliant OmniStor/3160 4Gb fibre-channel RAID storage subsystem. Utilizing sixteen (16) of the latest 750GB SATA-II disk drives, the OmniLib/3160 can store over 10 hours of 10-bit uncompressed HD source content, enabling cost-effective and reliable digital asset storage for RAID 0, 1, 3, 5, 6, 10, 30, 50, 60, JBOD and NRAID configurations. February 2007, CUC adds KENW to its growing PBS archive reference list. KENW has installed our high-performance ClipSTOR/NAS front-end archival Storage mgt. Server and MediaServ Media Gateway Server to capture ingest video controlled by Sundance/Omneon.

January 2007, CUC is proud to add TV GUIDE NETWORKS to the list of our Broadcast customers. TV GUIDE has deployed a SAN-based ClipSTOR/NAS configuration with a Qualstar XLS LTO-3 tape library for long-term archival storage of their media assets.

Sept 2006, CUC is now shipping the SATA-2 750GB drive in their ClipSTOR system bringing the maximum storage capacity of their NAS/24 to 15TB Usable.

May 2006, CUC has been selected by the Museum of Broadcast to provide a web-based media asset management and archival storage solution for public and private use this Spring.

March 2006 CUC was recently choose by Sundance Automation (AVID) to supply an OEM version of their ClipSTOR NAS system. CUC was picked for their ability to deliver a system that was configured with SGL's Flashnet software for immediate deployment. Flashnet is current OEM product for Sundance.

Spring 2006, CUC adds two New Mexico Stations to its growing reference list. KNME and KRWG have both been installed utilizing our ClipSTOR front end NAS/RAID and our Blu-Ray optical library. The system is set up to capture ingest video controlled by Sundance/Omneon to the RAID/Cache and then migrate older content to the Optical/Blu-ray Jukebox.
